Station Sushi in Solana Beach

Great restaurant! Fresh food and always amazing! Looks like a hole in the wall but it is our favorite and worth finding. Right off the beach! Has my favorite sparkling sake!

Very good Sushi! highly recommend this place

Not great. If you ask about gluten-free options, they will treat you like you shouldn't be there. The whole experience was exhausting and stressful (they brought me food with gluten many times and I had to send it back before I finally got something I could eat). The nearby Lazy Tuna sushi place is waaay better!

Amazing rolls, the nigiri was perfect. The pieces of fish were so fresh and very large. The fish to rice ratio was great. The staff was quick and super friendly even though our party came right before closing. Definitely a repeat!

Lunch hour was ok. We were not offered menus when we sat down. We ordered something off of the menu and both the server and sushi chef did not know what it was (firecracker roll) which does not instill confidence.

Love their protein roll. It's just packed with crab and fish and more fish. This is probably the one of the many reasons why I come to SB.

Anything from Big Mike is always a winner! He is a literal sushi god and all should have their tastebuds blessed by his skills. Wherever Big Mike is working is where you'll find the best sushi in town 😋

Place seems busy so we thought we would try it. We waited an hour for our order. Plus the waitress had no idea how to answer questions about the food she was serving. My daughter had to remind waitress of soup she ordered and my side rice was almost taken to wrong table. I thought food was gross I ordered the spicy tuna roll ,so I ordered chicken egg rolls they were also gross I've had better frozen egg rolls. Over all service and food was awful will not be returning.

If you want to wait over an hour to get your food it's still not worth it.

Went to lunch here recently and it wasn’t very crowded, but the service was atrocious. There was just one server who was very slow and they even ran out of iced tea. The food was fine, but they really need to improve in this category.

Website ADVERTISES lunch prices on Sunday, but when asked, they told me eventhough the website says it they dont actually do it. lol Service was also awful. We sat for 20+ minutes before our order was even taken, server forgot some of our food and never checked on us. Too expensive for such mediocre, slow service. Food was great, just not worth it.

We literally go here or order out on a weekly basis. The sashimi and sushi is really fresh and their drinks are great. Their happy hour is amazing too.

Attentive, courteous and cordial service followed by amazing very high quality sushi and sashimi. Not kidding...it was off the charts!!

I tried this place before with my friend and I am addicted since then. I like the excellent mood and delightful dishes and drinks. They never disappoint.

I would give them 5 stars because the sushi and service is excellent BUT THEY HAVE customers that come there that they allow there kids to make it seem like your having sushi on an ELEMENTARY PLAY YARD THAT IS BEING UNSUPERVISED absolutely horrid. Otherwise the place is amazing

This site is my first choice restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I prefere it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this restaurant. everytime I want to go to a delicious lunch, this place comes straight to my head. extremely good and many types of food and a rich menu.helpful staff members, and pleasant mood. Also important, the tariff is fair. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Awesome sushi, we loved the Monkey stick roll (pictured) and service was great. Very friendly staff. Hard to beat the happy hour values.

Station sushi is a great place on the 101 highway. Totally worth if your far and near. Make time to enjoy the great food, the great scenery and the beautiful people here. I love that they have sculpin on draft most sushi spots only offer their traditional Asian beers. I mainly come for my favorite none rice rolls. Below are pictures of the protein speciality roll and the drop it low with no rice! Enjoy people and always love others.

Beautiful! My family all had sushi and ramen there and we thought it was excellent. The workers were very kind and the owner knew exactly what she was doing. The food was very fresh as well! By far my favorite sushi place!

I was in town for work and was referred here by the Hilton Del Mar front desk. They did a phenomenal job. They're happy hour specials from 4-6 were an incredible deal, especially for the quality of the fish. If I lived in this area, I would go here all the time. While I was there, I noticed at least three locals that had come in, the owner seemed and sushi chefs seemed to know them very well. With regulars like that, it just reaffirmed that this place truly has amazing Sushi!

This place has been a favorite of mine for awhile now. Whenever I come home during break, I always make sure to come here. The Tokyo Sunset roll is my absolute favorite. It's definitely also a plus that their prices are reasonable for the generous portion sizes -- they really don't go stingy on the ingredients for the sushi. Service is also really good and attentive!

Sushi Rolls were quickly made and the service was fantastic.

Great service, exceptional sushi. The garlic edamame was a great start. Monkey roll, crunchy shrimp roll, albacore sashimi, all excellent. Definitely a go back to kind of place.

Great vibe. Friendly service. I reduced the rating, because the food came out in reverse order (appetizers 45 minutes after main dishes).

Thus place is one of the best sushi restaurants in San Diego area.

What it lacks in atmosphere, it makes up for in the quality of its fish. Always fresh and good size portions of sushi. Our go to place for sushi in North county.

The service at this place is really slow. I wouldn't recommended coming here if you are looking for a fast and quick meal to eat. Overall the food is good but the service is very slow.

As opposed to most reviews here the service was not bad at all but the food here was mediocre to maybe even less than mediocre. I ordered the ramen yet i wasnt really left satisfied with the taste as it looked more like soup I could've hand made at home. The sushi was OK, spicy tuna roll was good, the ahi tuna seemed to taste like the freshest thing I was served. Overall freshness left something to be desired.

Bad customer service. Have been rude on the phone multiple times even when they got the order incorrect.

They open at 5 and went for Happy Hour. They do have Sapporo draught on Happy Hour, also ordered the chef's choice nigiri sushi, California roll, and miso soup + salad. The food was average in the service was slow. The location in the atmosphere were good.

This place is very cozy, the food taste great, and the sushi chef and waitress were very attendant towards the customer. You should try this place if you are in the surrounding north of San Diego (Solana Beach, La Jolla, or Carlsbad).

The miso soup and Monkey Stick were awesome! We liked the California roll. Service was quick and friendly. Great atmosphere on the front patio and the overhead heaters kept us comfortable.
